Washed Up on Jumeirah Beach

Here are photos of what my husband found when he went out to the beach in front of our apartment recently. Dubai was hit with unusually high winds and choppy seas last week, with one woman swept to her death while trying to photograph the waves along the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. Neal reports that the kite surfers are out in force, despite evidence of what looks like a brown tide below. Let's hope it's algae and not something worse.
